Review requests

A review request emails customers after their order ships and asks how it went. Customers who leave a review get store credit as a thank you.

Turn it on#

   Go to Marketing > Email automations

   Add Review request

   It's marked Recommended until you add it.

   Edit the email if you like, then turn it on.

Review requests send on Growth and Pro.

When it sends#

3 days after an order is marked fulfilled in Shopify, to customers who accepted marketing emails. Emails aren't sent during quiet hours.

What the customer sees#

The email has a Write a review button. It opens a page where they pick 1 to 5 stars and can add a comment.

The link works for 30 days, once per order.

Store credit#

After a review, the customer gets a single-use store credit code on the page and by email.

• Worth 5% of the order total, in your store's currency.
• Up to about US$50 per review, as a round figure in your currency: $50, €45, £40, ¥7,500, ₹4,500, ৳6,000.
• Each customer can get up to the same amount in credit every 30 days.
• The code is a Shopify discount that expires after 60 days.

Open the automation and go to Activity. Sent shows each review with its stars, or No review yet. Reviews aren't published to your store.

Judge.me#

Already collect reviews with Judge.me? Connect it, and the assistant answers with your real reviews.

• In chat: when a shopper asks about quality, fit or what people think, the assistant gives the product's rating, how many reviews it has and one or two short quotes. It only quotes real reviews, shows first names at most, and says so when a product has none yet.
• Product cards show the star rating, like ★ 4.8 (120).

To connect:

   In Judge.me, go to Settings > Integrations > View API tokens

   Copy the private API token.

   In Any Store AI, go to Integrations > Judge.me and paste it. We check it with Judge.me before saving it.

Judge.me is on Growth and Pro, for Shopify stores. Judge.me may need its own Awesome plan for API access. If Judge.me stops accepting the token, its card shows Needs attention.

Review requests with Judge.me#

Judge.me sends its own review emails. While it's connected, our review request is off, so customers don't get two. To send both, turn on Send our review request too in the Judge.me settings. Disconnect Judge.me and ours sends again.
