Customers and newsletter subscribers from your chats.
Open in dashboardGo to Marketing > Contacts to see newsletter signups from the chat and the customers your emails reach.
Subscribers#
People who signed up for your newsletter in the chat. Signups go to the list you connected: Shopify customers, Klaviyo or Mailchimp.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Confirmed | They confirmed their email and joined your list. |
| Waiting to confirm | The confirm email is sent. |
| Link expired | They didn't confirm within 3 days. |
Select Export CSV to download confirmed subscribers. Only the account owner can see and export subscribers.

Customers#
Everyone who ordered or started a checkout, and who your automated emails can reach. Each row shows orders, last activity and status:
- Receiving emails
- Excluded: you turned emails off for them.
- Unsubscribed, Email bounced or Marked as spam: they can't be turned back on.
Use the Emails switch to stop or restart automated emails to one customer. Customers still only get marketing emails if they accepted marketing in Shopify.
