Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Any Store AI (the "Service"), an AI-powered customer chat assistant for Shopify merchants. By installing, connecting a store to, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Any Store AI connects to your Shopify store to answer customer questions, help customers find products, and assist with cart/checkout flows via an embeddable chat widget. The Service acts on your store's public catalog and cart data on your behalf.

2. Fees and billing

Paid plans are billed and collected entirely through Shopify's own billing system as part of your Shopify subscription, not by us directly. We never see or store your payment card details. Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial; you are only charged once the trial ends. You can change plans, view billing history, or cancel at any time from your Shopify admin, and cancellation stops future charges but does not retroactively refund the current billing period.

3. Your account and store connection

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may disconnect your store at any time; doing so stops the Service from accessing your store's data going forward.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to violate applicable law, to misrepresent your business, or to attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service's infrastructure.

5. Data and privacy

Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. AI-generated responses

The Service uses a large language model to generate customer-facing responses. While we apply guardrails, AI-generated text can occasionally be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing how the Service represents your store and for correcting any issues you notice.

7. Intellectual property

We own the Service's software, branding, and underlying technology. You retain full ownership of your store's content, product catalog, and customer data; using the Service does not transfer any of it to us. You grant us only the limited right to access and process that data as needed to operate the Service on your behalf, as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

9. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and disconnect your store at any time.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Any Store AI is registered to do business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This does not remove any consumer protections you are entitled to under the mandatory laws of your own country of residence.
